Most importantly, I am a human being just like you—learning the best ways to PRACTICE and ACT from love.
I love working with all kinds of people, from those in a corporate setting looking to increase creativity and positive leadership, to meditation retreat participants who are stepping into greater peace and opening their hearts into deeper love.
It was my mom’s diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease (PD) that first propelled me to study and research PD, launching my lifelong dedication to broad scientific training in neuroscience, physiology and behavior at UC Davis, UCLA and Caltech. As my mom’s illness progressed, I found science had its limitations and I began to seek ways to manage my suffering, especially my fear of losing her.
It was then that I found my home in the ancient Asian meditation practices, which transformed my experiences with suffering. I learned when I silenced my mind, allowed my fear to rise and fall away, then opened my heart—there was love. It was through these practices that I first began to wire my mind for love.
Now, as the founder of Awesome Neuroscience, I have combined my expertise and dual passions into unique offerings of meditative practices backed by modern neuroscience.
I offer corporate trainings and teach on meditation retreats to support all kinds of people to connect to deeper peace, enhance creativity, increase joy, and wire their minds for greater well-being and a more positive psychology.
